I do believe there is an ever increasing was against us. It does appear that the police have become ever more violent with the citizenry. Just go to youtube and search for that phrase. The perfect example is the case portrayed in the incredible documentary "Murder on a Sunday morning". During that case, every detective, not some, EVERY, one of them lied not only during the investigation, but during the trial as well. Does that mean that there are no criminals? NO, does that mean that some cases should be looked at again? HELL YES... How about the West Memphis Three. Daimen Echols Jessie Misskelly, and Jason Baldwin all served 18 years in prison for murders they did not commit. Again, the police and district attorney ALL made the evidence point to the INNOCENT boys who were charged and convicted of those crimes. How much money would you demand from the state for losing 18 years of your life? How much money would it take to make that pain and anguish go away? I am so sickened my the corruption in many police departments around the country. Now, when the people fianlly have a weapon to fight back, the cell phone camera, the states are trying to make it a crime to record those corrupt cops beating the crap out of people.
The Innocence project has cleared over 300 INNOCENT MEN FROM prison. That is an enormous amount of convictions that were overturned. Is police misconduct the root to all the convictions? probably not, but it is worth taking a look... If the justice was even remotely fair, then there would be no convictions overturned. I am not so innocent or naive to think that could happen, but in my eyes, if someone is on death row, then there better be so much fucking overwhelming evidence against them, that the case is ironclad. But, like I have stated, the amount of police who continually lie just blows my mind. Think about it, if you are a young person joining the police force, and you really want to protect and serve, when do you decide to cross that line? When do you decide to plant evidence? When do you decide to lie during an investigation? When do you decide to lie during the trial? As far as I am concerned, if you are a cop, responsible for upholding the law, you are held to a very high ethical standard. If you lie, and perjure yourself, that is automatic 10 years in jail.
I am astounded by the daily amount of video of police beating up people, shooting them, shooting animals, just basically being assholes, they are there to protect and serve, not intimidate and threaten. When did this war against us start? The recent manhunt in Boston is just one example of jackboot Nazi police stripping away our rights, and trying to rationalize and get us use to the police state. Soon, I am going to make a trip across the country, I did this two years ago, and the amount of poverty and despair I personally witnessed was devastating. I was in Reno, Nevada, and I saw the police beat the crap out people in the "Occupy Reno" movement. These innocent protesters were sitting down, not bothering anyone, and the cops started dragging, spraying, and beating these poor innocent people all over the street. It did more than break my heart. I made my resolve to help make a change even stronger.
Where is the justice for us? The illegal "Checkpoints" set up nationwide to check for drunk driving is just another ruse to intimidate and threaten. WTF has happened in this country?
It looks like every judicial decision appears to work in favor of corporations and banks. Just recently Haliburton was found guilty of destroying evidence in the Deep Water Horizon tragedy. Did anyone go to jail? NO... Wells Fargo and Wachovia were found guilty of laundering BILLIONS of dollars.

My Poor Kids
I am on a rant today. One of the basic tenants of life has been, to give your kids a better life than you had. I have tried. That is not going to happen unless the revolution occurs.
We basically have to start over. The sheer amount of corruption starting in the Oval Office and filtering down to the local levels is staggering. I really do not know where to begin.
Obama- corrupt to the core. Impeachment should have happened a few years ago. He has turned into a joke in the circles that I hang out in. "The first thing I'm going to do is bring our troops home, you can take that to the bank" The first thing I'm going to do is close Gitmo" need I say more. The amount of lies, scandals, audacity, murder, you name it, he murders with the drones, I am wondering if he spies on Michelle with the drones? He really does make me sick. I voted for him the first time. Sorry.
I really would like one day, just one, that "regular" folks in this country can go into the White House press room, and ask him some questions. Is that asking for a lot?

There are two, not one, but TWO women with Masters degrees working behind the deli at the local supermarket. They both had good jobs, seemed secure, but one Friday, TWO YEARS AGO, the company they worked for FIRED them. JUST BECAUSE!!!... That makes me angry, you should see these women slice ham....That is the tip of the iceberg. They are just two people who comprise the 47% of Americans who work part time. Thats right, 47% of the jobs here are part time. No medical, no pension, minimal sick days, minimal vacation accrual. That's where the jobs are, if there is any work at all, its part time now. How fucking sad. The day when dad went off to work, and mom stayed home with the baby, GONE FOR 35 years....

Lets give some staggering numbers to this note... There are as of this writing 101 million people on food stamps. Does that number just knock your socks off? It sure does it to me. Almost 1 out of 3 people in the richest country on earth, is receiving some sort of food supplement. What the fuck has happened?
Here is another one... the top 7% of the people control over 80% of the wealth. Again, this just shows that the rich get richer and poor are getting fucked and bigger by the day.
4 out 5 people are one paycheck from being out on the street. That's comforting. Just when you think it cant get any worse, these numbers just keep piling up. Can you even imagine just how horrifying these numbers are? I am one of the very fortunate ones, I have a full time job. I am a counselor for Autistic adults. I take one of my guys to the local YMCA so he can walk. When we go in, there is a group of men, most of them around my age (52) and some younger, and they are sitting around a conference table, playing cards, chess, and shooting the bull. I was hanging out one day, and I heard them all talking about trying to find work. The exasperation and desperation their voices was palpable. These are men, who use to be part of the upper middle class. You would not find them or their families at the YMCA, no, these were the masters of the universe. They would be at their elite health club, not mixing with lower classes. They are all humbled now. Their wives are the ones who work two part time jobs, to make ends meet. These guys, bring the kids to the Y to network, and hope that the fucking Obama miracle is going to happen. What the hell are their chances? Do not even get me going on that scumbag in the White House. I fell for the lie, ONCE. The country fell for the lie again, and folks, we are so fucked, I cannot even begin to imagine what is going to happen. Nuclear War? Pandemic? Financial Collapse? Mass Riots? Civil War? Which one do you vote for? me, I am voting for the Civil War, but not a war of the North and South, nope, this is going to be a class war, and its going to be a war to end all wars.
Where is the hope? Please do tell. I would like some comments. Am I being to negative? Where is the american dream? How come the soup kitchens are over flowing? How come almost 20 million kids go to bed hungry every night? How come the prisons are so crowded with non violent offenders?
What actually makes me sick to my stomach is the media complicity in all this. The sheer amount of distractions to keep the sheeple form getting angry or asking the tough questions, is questionable at best and criminal at worst. Where is the true reporting on scandals? Where is the 4th Estate gone? They have been co-opted and sold out. Sadly there is no hope. When more people care about what the hell Jennifer Aniston had for breakfast than care about Bradley Manning, or the murder of Michael Hastings, we have lost. we have lost many things, but mostly we have lost our way.

I dont know about you, but I have fucking had it. I have gone from a patriotic citizen to absolutely sick and disgusted to claim the USA as my home. Every day there is one more thing that gives me outrage fatigue. Am I alone? I think not... I have no idea where to begin.
This whole domestic spying insanity is criminal from the start. When I was a kid, and saw abuses against citizens in any other country, my dad would say proudly "that can't happen here, it happens in Russia".
