Serve in Silence

Sometimes all it takes it a name, dropped into a conversation that sends my mind into curious mode.  That happened to me while listening to the No Agenda Podcast.  This post all about one name, and my quest to find out why it was there.

I want to tell you reader,  I have read many articles, and they are loaded with all the military lingo, and can describe the scene, the weaponry with much more precision than I ever can.  What I am trying to convey is my view from life experience, learning about the lies that our leaders both political and military, regularly tell us without even thinking about it. As long as they can advance their careers, get more funding, induce a state of fear in the public, they will do it, I guarantee that. If you can not wrap your head around that basic tenant, please take the Blue pill and read no further.  If that is also your life experience, take the Red Pill and continue.

Lost in the lawsuit against the NSA, Obama, Holder, and others, is the name of the plaintiffs who brought the suit in the first place. Judge Richard Leon ruled that the NSA most "likely" violated the 4th Amendment rights of Americans guaranteed under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  This pesky document to many in the halls of power just plain gets in the way of allowing them to pretty much do what the hell they want.  It is an absolute disgrace that the Federal Government is going to appeal this decision. That is a whole other post that will be written in the future.

This lawsuit was filed by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch.  There is one other name as a co-plaintiff that has not gotten any publicity at all, and after all the research I have done, I know why. That name is Charles Strange.  Here is the press conference that was held to gain awareness of Extortion 17 and ST6

Charles Strange is father.  Charles Strange is a husband.  Charles Strange lost his son Michael in a helicopter crash on August 6, 2011.  Does that date ring a bell to anyone? That was the day that all  members of Seal Team 6 (ST6) were murdered by the Taliban in Tangi Valley, Wardak Province, Afghanistan.

I will give you a brief synopsis of the "official" story as reported by General Jeffrey Colt.  This is a 1250 page report that is quite remarkable in its scope and content, or lack of content.

The Chinook CH-47 transport helicopter was built in 1960 for our troops in the Vietnam war. This was not the normal operational chopper that ST6 used for missions.  ST6 used the new MH-47 Attack Choppers for their missions.  Never before, had all members of the team been placed on the same chopper.  This point has been made abundantly clear by many, NEVER had this been done. Why now?

The Chinook code named, Extortion 17, was shot down by a "lucky shot" from an RPG from two Taliban Fighters perched in a turret, in a tower near the landing zone.  This all occurred after the area had been declared a "hot zone"  a firefight had been going on for 3 and 1/2 hours prior to the Chinook entering the Tangi Valley.  The Chinook was hit as it was landing, that was when it was most vulnerable.  All members of the elite fighting Special Operations unit Seal Team 6 were killed, as well as the Afghans, and the combat dog, 38 in total.  In the aftermath the "black box" from the copter was "washed" away in a flood. Once again, a crucial and vital piece of evidence that could give a glimpse into what happened was "lost." The black box is so protected and indestructible that they never get lost, they are found in 10,000 feet of water, under swamps, but this one was lost in a river.  More questions than answers here.  The members of Seal Team 6 were flown to the United States, where all their bodies were cremated because they were "burned beyond recognition."   Their mission was to apprehend Al- Leader Qari Tahir, a "high value" target. Those are the "facts" reported by General Colt.
Qaeda

There was never any suppression fire laid down, there were over 100 Al-Qaeda, Taliban fighters waiting for ST6 in the hot zone.  The decision to go forward was made "out of theater", meaning, someone in Washington D.C. most likely gave the go ahead for this mission. To this day, we do not know who made that call.  The parents and others involved with the case are suing, to find out who.  Isn't that amazing, no one will admit to making that fateful decision to get Tahir that night.  Many feel it was Leon Panetta,who as of this writing is being investigated for leaking classified documents to the makers of the movie Zero Dark 30.

Now lets get to what Charles Strange and many other parents of Seal Team 6 want to know.  What happened to get their children killed?  Who gave the order to go ahead with this mission?  Charles Strange knows that the Obama is lying to him, and before you finish reading this post, you might come to that same conclusion. As always, please do not believe what I am telling you, look it up for yourself and verify, I ask you to do this so we can make those is power aware that we are awake to their high crimes, and folks, these are treasonous crimes.

I want to start with some basic mission parameters that were always followed.  I am getting this information from interviews, news articles, personal correspondence from the Seals to their parents.  As I write this, I am heartbroken at what happened to ST6.  I am  not a war monger, nor am I a pacifist , I fall in the middle somewhere.  If we are attacked, then we must defend ourselves.  This leads me into the first portion of my investigation.

The Rules of Engagement(ROE) for our soldiers in Afghanistan are not what you think, when you think of war.  We all have a frame of reference, whether that is your personal involvement in Vietnam, the Gulf War, movies, television, and books.  Many have this image of John Wayne charging up the sand at Iwo Jima, looking for the enemy, and killing them. This is not what is happening in Afghanistan, not by any stretch.  Our soldiers must be shot at, then make absolutely sure that the enemy has not dropped their weapon, then, and only then, can they fire and kill.  As one mother put it, "our boys basically have to be shot at twice, before they can return fire."  You see, our President has made it his mission, and those of his Generals to "win the hearts and minds" of our enemy.

I am all for winning those hearts and minds of innocent children, women and men, but not the enemy who is firing at you, trying to end your life. If all the people in the United States knew this ROE mission strategy, and the repercussions of that, I do believe that there would be some outrage, but more importantly, a big question as to why we are there is the first place.  I will get to that later.

As I have researched and investigated this horrible tragedy, I should make this clear. ST6 is the unit that "allegedly" killed Osama Bin Laden 93 days before they were killed.  I have put allegedly in quotes to point out that almost all of the various articles I have referenced use the word allegedly when describing that mission.  

Benazir Bhutto Former Prime Minister of Pakistan stated quite clearly that Osama Bin Laden was dead in 2003.  She was soon assassinated after this interview.  The crime scene of her murder was washed away with power hoses within minutes, no evidence was left to collect.  There are many who believe that her assassination was a direct action to her speaking about Bin Laden.

It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the President and his minions to use the alleged death of Bin Laden as a political victory to boost up approval numbers, create an overwhelming sense of patriotism among the citizens, and get the bad guy.  Please remember that the Bin Laden DNA match was done in an impossibly short time frame, we have not seen one picture, and his body was dumped in the ocean.  Does that sound legit to you?

If Obama or the generals had flown the body to Bagram Air Force Base, allowed some journalists of John Pilger caliber verify who it was, then the whole world would have at least some verification of his death. The official story why it was not done was that the "Islam" world would have been outraged.  If that was the case, then why did Obama and Biden leak the intel in the first place? They used this mission for political capital, plain and simple.

Which brings me to the code that ST6 lived by.  "Serve in Silence"  To a man, the members of ST6 made it clear to their families that their missions were secret, and nothing of what they did was made public. This is what they wanted.  When you hear Charles Strange castigate Joe Biden for naming the Navy Seals as the unit that killed Bin Laden, you can see the hate in his eyes.  Our politicians cannot keep their mouths shut, especially after a few drinks.


 We know that GWB used lies and deception to get us to attack Afghanistan and Iraq.  They used the "mushroom cloud" "weapons of mass destruction" in the media, Colin Powell held up a vial of some Bio-Weapon for the whole world to see.  They were not the first, and sadly, they will not be the last.

Poppy used a fake Kuwaiti girl to describe the Iraqi soldiers taking the "incubator babies" and throwing them on the hospital floor, to win the "hearts and minds of the American public in 1990.  "Nayirah" was a complete lie, from start to finish.  Her "incubator babies" story was written by the huge ad agency Hill & Knowlton on Madison Avenue.  Bin Laden himself was a creation of the CIA, used to fight the Russians in Afghanistan.  The United States armed him, paid him and used him to win their war in the 1980's.

When these missions are planned there are always Afghan National Army military in the room.  These Afghans know the flight plan, the terrain to be taken, the whole mission plan.  It was a joke among the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, how they had infiltrated these Afghan units and were receiving so much intel, that there is a name for this, Green on Blue attacks.  How the hell can our military allow this to happen is another dirty secret from this war. In the minutes prior to the Chinook taking off for the mission, the 7 Afghan military men were removed and replaced by 7 other Afghan military.  To this day, we do not know who these men were. To make the Afghan situation even more confusing, the military never interviewed the Afghans taken off the chopper, or we any Afghans involved the investigation into what happened to Extortion17

Qari Tahir was thought to be a "top leader" in Al-Qaeda.  He was supposedly in the building where ST6 was heading.  Why he was such a "high value" target, and why he had to be captured that night , has never been answered.  I wish to inform you that Tahir and a fellow terrorist were turned to dust a month later most likely from a Predator Drone while standing on a hilltop.

Charles Strange was told that his son was cremated because his body was burned beyond recognition.  He received a disc in mail, and on that disc were pictures of his son, on an autopsy table, and a report of the autopsy, not a complete one, but there was some information that is quite interesting.   His body was not burned, there were no apparent injuries, except for a possible ankle break or sprain.  More importantly, there was no smoke found in his lungs.

I cannot even imagine what these parents are going through.  After reading and researching this story I do have some comments and questions, maybe some of them are the same as yours?

• Why did Biden leak the name of the unit?
• How come all members of ST6 were on the same chopper?
• Who made the decision to go ahead with this operation?
• Why were the most elite fighting force in the world being transported into a known hot zone, in a 50 year old chopper?
• Where is the black box from the chopper? This to me is a blatant lie. 
• How come these parents are forced to sue the government for information regarding this case?
• Who were the seven Afghan military who were taken off the Chinook minutes prior to taking off?
• Who were the 8 Afghans who were put on the Chinook?
• Why was there no smoke in the lungs of Michael Strange?
• Why was Charles Strange told he was not supposed to see the autopsy pictures?
• Is there a possibility that they were eliminated for security reasons? 
• Why did the President lie to Charles Strange about looking "very very deep" into this tragedy, and then NEVER talk to him about it?
• Why are the "hearts and minds" of the enemy more important than our own soldiers?
• I am sure that military people who have access to the report have many more questions.

In closing, this is cover up at the minimum, and huge scandal waiting to erupt.  This is the dirty secret about Afghanistan and our presence there for the past 12 years.  Last year was a record year for Opium growth and exporting from Afghanistan.  How can we say that the United States of fighting a "war on drugs" when we have the CIA shipping almost 1  TRILLION dollars worth of opium out that country?

Is there a possibility that ST6 was eliminated like what Ruby did to Oswald?  If, Bin Laden was already dead, as Benazir Bhutto clearly stated, then who was killed by ST6 in Pakistan?  Is there a chance that the military was seeing leakage in the "official narrative" and had to plug all leaks in the worst way possible?  We do know now that all emails, phone conversations, are monitored by NSA and other branches of the military that we probably do not know. 

The fact that Michael Strange had no smoke in his lungs, give the the idea, that maybe, just maybe, all the members of ST6 were already dead, when the Chinook started its landing in the Tangi Valley?  Did one of the seven Afghans inform their fellow terrorists about the mission?  Is there a chance that ST6 was flying into an ambush?  The world is starting to wake up to the fact that our government is capable of evil doings, killing innocents to get what they want. I am just speculating that all options must be on the table here.  If an idiot like myself can think this up, I am sure that those in the know, have already reached the same possible conclusions.

 Like Benghazi, the Obama administration is covering up vital information that these parents need to know for closure.  They are grieving today, and will not rest until this is figured out, and truth finds a way to come to the top.

Bad Intel - So Far Away.

It has been weighing on my mind for a while.  When I read about the wedding party in Yemen being erased from the face of the Earth in a second, I felt this inner anger and feeling of helplessness.

Do we as a people really understand what our actions are doing to innocent people, so far away?

How can we comprehend the anger that they feel? I can't.  I have tried to empathize with the people of not only Yemen, but of Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, that we do not know about because of those magic words that the Obama administration use so often to hid atrocities, "national security" in countries, so far away?

Is it because of national security that Obama hides the fact that thousands of innocent women and children are dead in countries so far away?

When we kill like this, we are creating a whole new batch of enemies.  Instead of trying to peacefully figure out the problems that plague the world, we just kill.  I am sick of it.  I didn't vote for this.  How can we tell the world that we don't want the never ending "war on terror" to continue?

You dear reader should ask yourself a very introspective question.  The answer you find just might surprise you.  Do you value the life of the people of Yemen less that american lives?  How about the over 1,000,000 innocent Iraqi people we killed all in the name of peace?

Do we think less of people because they live in mud shacks, ride donkeys to town, and go to the outhouse to relieve themselves?

It is not as easy to reach the answer as you might think.  In my younger days I have to admit the ignorance that enveloped me, and kept me from looking at the big picture.  Not anymore.

I want the people of world to know that not all Americans feel that killing is the right way to handle our differences.  What if trying to reason with people and empathizing with their struggles is not only the right way, but honorable way to reach an accord?

I dont know about you, but I am sick of seeing children, who have done nothing wrong, have their tiny bodies blown apart because of this bullshit never ending "war on terror."  How do you think their mothers feel?

We must think differently, we must empathize with those who we are killing.  Why are we killing them? Bad intelligence is the phrase and excuse we hear so often.  What if the people of Yemen had drones of their own, and all of a sudden bus loads of kids in the US were being killed?  Would we stand for their government falling back on "bad intel?" I don't think so. I could be wrong.

It all happens, So Far Away.

The following post here is being typed with much anger and a broken heart.  I just read the a drone strike killed 15 people in Yemen on their way to a wedding.  My heart is breaking, it hurts terribly reading this story.

Can you even in your worst nightmare even comprehend the human carnage that investigators are trying to figure out?  I bet you cannot, because you are so far away.

The likely drone pilot who ultimately pressed the fire button was a person in a small container like office, in Nevada, so far away.

The smell of cordite and death cannot be inhaled by the drone pilot because he or she is so far away.

President Obama will most likely give the standard line like "our hearts and prayers" are with the victims families, but he cannot hear them wail and cry, he is so far away.

We as a people cannot understand why Abdelah Haider Shaye is still rotting in a prison in Yemen.  Most people do not know that he is there because Obama called Yemen, and ordered him to be thrown in prison for reporting on our drone strike that wiped out a village of innocents in a land, so far away.

And that folks, is the crux of the problem.  We cannot understand how our actions are being viewed, how our actions are destroying families, how our killing of innocent women and children is changing the landscape in a country, so far away.

I am appalled.  I am angry.  I am sick of death and destruction all in the name of "security."  This is the biggest lie to be held out in front of us by the mainstream media in quite a while.  There will be a day, when those in power are held accountable for their despicable actions.  Whether by judges, or by God himself, they will answer for their war crimes committed in a land, so far away.

One Man, One Voice..Many Questions....

Dear Internet,
As one man, one father, one human resource in the vast wasteland that is becoming the new America, I would like to share my thoughts and feelings on where we have been, where we are, and where I feel we are going. I am rambling a bit today, forgive me.

Are we Exceptional?

I know at one time we were, to say that now, is disingenuous at best. I heard the President say that his first duty is to keep us safe. That is not true. His first duty is to "protect and defend the constitution of the United States".  If he did that one thing well, then everything else would fall into place.

 Just a few seconds ago I came across this article about the government crushing dissent.  That sums up what is happening to the Constitution in a nutshell.  This makes me sick to my stomach.  There are millions of people who have come to this country for the express right to voice dissent, and it appears that there is an active movement to destroy anyone who voices a different opinion.

Freedom? 

When are little blogs like mine going to be illegal?  I fear in the not too distant future, anyone who protests will be thrown in jail.  Our founding fathers would be terrorists in today's world. The leaders of this country are trying and succeeding in the old tactic of "divide and conquer", and quite frankly it is tearing us apart.  When the government attacks and jails journalists for doing their jobs, there is no turning back.  The recent release of "Mediastan" proves that point exactly.  The fact that newspapers will not print stories that might get the government upset is maddening and sad.  Corporate owned journalism is dead.  Do the owners and editors of those once prized institutions really wonder why their readership is down?  In those offices and cubicles they know, they know exactly why they cant sell papers anymore.  They don't want to admit it, but they know that they are just a mouthpiece for government. 

Chuck Todd would rather be at a party having cocktails with the elites in government than reporting anything that would piss them off.  The fourth estate has been sold to the White House, lock, stock, and barrel.

Military?

How can we have a budget that is so overloaded with military spending and spying while we ignore the needs of the people?  I did not vote to assassinate American citizens without a trial.  How can anyone with a conscience believe it is right to do so? Where has our humanity gone?

Whistleblowers?

Edward Snowden exposed something that many people already knew was happening and brought sunlight to the lies and illegal activities of two agencies, the NSA and CIA. These two arms of the government have too much power.

I cannot get "exceptional" out of my head today.

I heard the President tell us while ago that we are "exceptional." Do you really believe that?

Are we exceptional when we kill thousands of innocent woman and children in the name of "peace?"

Are we exceptional when we invade countries to rape them of their resources for our corporate masters?

Are we exceptional when we throw thousands of people in jail with no charges and hold them in isolation until their brains are scrambled?

Are we exceptional when there are millions of children in this country who go to bed every night hungry?

Are we exceptional when we put traveling checkpoints up just to harass innocent people all in the name of security?

Are we exceptional when we spy on millions of innocent people, capture the emails and phone calls of everyone in the hope of catching a terrorist?

Are we exceptional when we tap the phones the foreign leaders?

Are we exceptional when we tell the people of other countries to protest their governments for change, then we go and arrest those who are protesting here in this country?

Are we exceptional when our own police routinely beat up innocent people then when they are recorded doing so, throw those people in jail for exposing injustice?

Are we exceptional when whistle blowers who expose corruption are treated like the very criminals they are outing?

Are we exceptional when the top 1% control a vast majority of the wealth?

Are we exceptional because the lines at soup kitchens and homeless shelters are exploding at an alarming rate?

There are many questions here that need to be answered.  Do I for one second think I have all the answers?  Nope.  Is there room for change and discussion on many topics of concern? I think so.

I am not naive, I am well aware that there is evil in the world, and there are people who want to hurt us.  We should be very careful when we are trying to protect the people.  The indiscriminate killing of innocent women and children across the globe is going to come back and haunt us, for that I am sure.  When you decide to launch missiles and wipe out villages all to kill one person, you are going down a path of destruction that is most dangerous.  The little girl of today, who loses a mother, father, and brother will be the woman in 20 years that will dedicate her life to hurting us.

The amazing documentary "Dirty Wars" exposes the secret wars across the globe that will only hurt us in the long run. That is not a threat, it is a fact. The fact that Obama picked up the phone, and personally called the leader of Yemen, and told him to keep Abdulelah Haider Shaye in prison because he would expose the killing of women and children is beyond contempt.

 The job that the  mainstream media is doing is so pitiful and disgraceful, that finally, some people are waking up and seeing the crap they feed us as just that, CRAP.

The struggles that I see on a daily basis is staggering.  The lines outside the soup kitchen appears to get longer every day.  What is going to happen when all the human resources wake up and see the world for what it is?

Where is the outrage?

It is going to take massive outrage by Google and Yahoo as well as the other big tech companies to get ant type of reform.  The fact that the evil NSA has spied on us slaves of Gitmo Nation is not enough.  The biggest and brightest at Google MUST demand change now!  Like it or not, they have the resources(lawyers) to demand action from the disgusting Obama administration. I do believe that Larry Page would be quite pissed off to know that Kaiser Alexander is reading his email, and recording his phone conversations.

It is quite sad that the protests mean almost nothing, and its going to take the mega corps anger to get anything done.  What has gone under reported is the fact that all the spying done by the NSA on the pretext of "keeping us safe from terror" is the biggest line of bullshit I have ever seen.  The spying is for industrial espionage and trying to make a dollar.  There is no reason to tap the foreign leaders phones other than to gain the edge in what foreign corporations are up to, what deals are being made, and what big government contracts are being bid on. Its just that simple.

Part 2 of Ongoing Conversation-What Can We Do?

As I wallow again, with too many cups of coffee, Here is the present situation. The middle class is rapidly disappearing.  The worst part about that is, it is going the way of poverty. That's a fact, not speculation. I am wondering about what we can do?  My last post dealt with what is wrong? 
This post is about "what can we do?" and "what we can do?" Those are two similar yet very different questions.

They are very complex questions on many levels. I will try to tackle them the best I can.
The vast distribution of wealth in the US is quite shocking, take a peak at the video here.

What can we do?  to stop the ever growing surge of corporatism? For those of you who are not aware of this term, here is the definition:
Corporatism: the control of a state or organization by large interest groups.
Anyone with a bit of common sense is well aware of just how much "big money" influences our elected officials. I will start here with the enormous amount of cash from mega corporations that flow to Washington DC. 

You and I cannot even fathom the corruption and corporatism that is so rampant and pervasive, and built into the "system.  I cannot say with enough authority that this is where we have to start to effect change, but it would definitely be on the top 10 list. This is a complex issue, but in order to change it at all, the corporations must not be allowed to bribe  donate money to our congress. It would literally take an act of congress, and since they are bought and paid for my these corporations, that will not happen. What a twisted web of deceit and deception.

That being said, our congressmen when they are not stuffing their pockets with cash, sometimes do listen to the people.  I have the website to the Senate and Congress as well as the White House, as default home pages on my browser.  I try to write them every day, in the short term, it makes me feel better, in the long term, like anything else, there will be many letters from me, and their sycophants must delete them all. I do think it is very important to remember the first amendment.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The above mentioned amendment seems to have been lost on the people here.  There could be many factors, but what I see the mos,t is apathy. That is EXACTLY what the government wants.  I can recall a couple years ago, when the "Arab spring" was happening half way around the world. The President went on television and was congratulating the Arabs for exercising their right to free speech and protest. At the same time our president and the corporations that pull his strings were shutting down the "Occupy" movement HERE! What a fucking hypocrite. He encourages free speech everywhere but here.  There is a new term is the American lexicon ever since 9/11. I find this as hard to believe as you do but "free speech zones" are real, and a very scary precedent. Again, I refer to the first amendment, CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW.  That is that. They are illegal. 

What can we do?

THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE.

To me, that is the central question. How do we get the government to fear us? 

I believe in my heart that there is going to be an event, a situation, something is going to happen, that is going to be the "no turning back" moment for the people.  I wish I had a crystal ball to predict that moment, but my worst fear is that people are going to die, for that to happen. I do know that there is one thing, one event that can bring down the whole house of cards. 

If there was any real investigation of Building 7, that could be the proverbial card that starts the house tumbling until what is left is, in shambles. How do we accomplish that? WE MUST PUT PRESSURE ON THE GOVERNMENT, OUR CONGRESS, OUR SENATE, AND BE RELENTLESS.  Being relentless is the problem.  Our leaders and corporations, they think of the long game, they think about things in blocks of decades. We the people must live our lives, and worry about paying the mortgage, rent, going to work, taking care of our kids, paying bill, yada, yada, it is VERY DIFFICULT TO SUSTAIN THE RELENTLESS PRESSURE. 

This Building 7 is the key, if we took to the streets, if we put relentless pressure on all elected officials, and by pressure, I mean, bombard them with every thing, mail, email, mass protests, television documentaries, banners everywhere, mainstream media, and kept this pressure on, then something would happen. I believe that in my heart.  This is not the ONLY thing that the government fears, this would be a pressure point that would get quick attention. They cannot explain how a 47 story skyscraper fell at free fall speed.  Its that simple. This is the key. I would suggest a great place to start would be going to the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth website and take a look at the information there.

I am a parent, and I am very fearful of the country that I am going to leave to my kids.  We always hear the words, I want my kids to have it better than I did. Do you honestly think that is true nowadays? The statement might be true, but the reality is a whole different issue.

What we can do?

What can we do? Stop paying attention to media distractions.  Where to begin on this one? hmmmm... Lets start with the complicity of the media to keep us not only distracted but apathetic as well.  Everyone needs some entertainment, but the media has quite successfully figured out how to distract us from what is truly important.  Our fascination with the Kardashians, and Honey Boo Boo and people of that ill, it to me quite frankly, fucking embarrassing. I couple of years ago Jesse Ventura was on with Geraldo Rivera. I had heard that when Jesse showed a clip of WTC 7 collapsing in its own footprint, it was the first time that had been on television since 9/11. Now whether that was exactly accurate, I am not sure, but I can tell you I had not seen it on television, and I do pay attention.

From where I sit it certainly does appear that corporations and the elites of the US have the upper hand, that has how its been since the start, and I personally see no end in sight.  The best "we", and I say we, because I am in the lower middle class, and I would gather that my readership, and I do thank you for reading, is in the same boat I am.  I do wonder if there are any elites who read my little rants, if you do, I would be curious to hear your point of view.

 What can we do?

 Find out which corporations are paying the most money to your congressman and make a concerted effort not to put any money in their pockets. The answer is much easier than the actual implementation of that strategy. But, you can do it. Believe it or not, boycotts do work. The reason they fail though, is that the people do not have the determination to follow through with a boycott, I have a few things that I do to make a difference. Its not much, but my conscience is clear. I do not put one penny in the pockets of Exxon/Mobile. Exxon is waiting for people to die in Alaska so they can pay a few dollars less on the Exxon Valdez tanker spill back in 1989.  There is a class action lawsuit that they lost to the citizens in Alaska, they still have not paid for the damage they did. 


They have fought at every turn to not pay anything to the citizens that were harmed or killed by this spill.  As a matter of fact they have fought at every turn to pay for their crimes. This is so sickening to me, but what makes me upset is that no one cares.  If only 10% of the people woke up and stopped using Exxon, believe me, they would take notice.  But, they can afford to hire big public relation firms, advertising agencies to make you believe they are the most virtuous companies on the planet.  


In July of 2010, the Deep Water Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico decimated the southern coast.  The long term exposure of the spill as well as the Corexit they used to "clean" it up will be felt for the foreseeable future. They were negligent on the rig, on the clean up, and the cover-up of the spill and clean-up. How is that for a tongue twister.  I dare you to watch the "The Big Fix" documentary and go to BP for a fill up. My brother and I have talked quite a bit about with these purely evil corporations, you have to basically pick the lesser of the evils.  Is there a bright shining beacon of hope? I do not know?  But at least I do know about the true evil of those two.

So to wrap up this part of the conversation, yes, there are things we can do. I have found two reporters that appear to me to not have been co-opted. Jeremy Scahill, and John Pilger.. I am sure there are others, if there are, I sure would like to hear about them.  I am going to leave those two gentlemen for the third part of my conversation, coming soon.

Are we better off today than we were 10 years ago?

Are we better off than we were 20 years ago?

Look at this. It sure looks like Obama likes to screw the rapidly shrinking middle class. Bastards  It really hurts when you see it in print, instead of just feeling it every goddamn day.. Someday this whole house of cards is going to cave in, the 1% will not be able to buy their way out. 
When are we, as a people going get angry? We need to take to the streets, take it to the malls, take it every Main Street in every town and city in this country. But alas, that will not happen. Instead we will wear ribbons in protest. Or change Avatars.

 That does NOTHING.

I say "Fuck the NSA" They are the bastards that on the pretense of "security" invade our privacy.  It is not too far in the future where every semblance of privacy is gone.  I bet if I use certain keywords, I could get some jackoff who has sold their soul for a government paycheck to read this page.  In the Middle East there are Terrorists who blow up building, with pipe bombs, and that is horrible.  It was not too long ago that we used the biggest weapon of mass destruction on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Pretty soon, a nuclear bomb will hit the internet, and most of us will be part of the fallout. 

That is probably the most honest 3 minutes on television in the recent past.  What has happened to us?  

I have a signature in my email that says "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent" One of our greatest Presidents made that statement.  Where have people of good conscience gone? 

We all need more EDWARD SNOWDENS. We all need more WILLIAM BINNEYS. And there is no question the next BRADLEY MANNING IS OUT THERE.

These men are all heroes.  Who is going to to be the next hero who exposes the criminals who are working for the government, or the private sector in the name of the government?  I know, many questions this morning, and no answers.  We need a hero, we need someone who will stand up for us, someone we can get behind, who is not corrupt, who will not misuse the public trust. I do have an idea. That person goes to work every day, sits at a desk, has a cup of coffee, then wonders what the hell they are doing.  He or she, sees all that is swirling about, and maybe today is the day they will do something about it.  We are just getting going here. 

Am I condemning all police officers as horrible people? No. Are there police officers who blatantly abuse their power? Yes.  Do I hold all police officers to a higher standard? Yes I do. When police officers abuse that power, should their sentence be harsher than a any a criminal who is not trusted by the public? Yes. 

I will take a look at the greatest invention in the history of man. The Internet.

Ever since its inception and growing popularity, our government has had their hands in the till.  The corporations that mete out its highway of information have tried their best to give us a little here and there, but they want total control of its broad powers, make no mistake about that.

The whole issue of net neutrality is a joke.  Oh, I know, for a time it will look like "the people" will get a victory, but lets face facts.

Comcast-ATT-Verizon-Time Warner- just to name a few of the bastards, have pockets that are too deep.  The will lavish their riches on our elected officials, and we the people have no chance at winning at that game.  You would think that a few of the power house technology companies would stand with us. They will not.  We would have heard of them by now. Where is Sergei and Larry with enormous pockets trying to help us?  Where is Bill Gates?  You would think that people at the Google would be on the side of us, maybe 6 or 7 years ago they would have, not now. They are the 1%. Don't rock the boat.  

I do not normally sound like a defeated person. Facts are facts. Bribes work. And our elected officials can smell that internet cash with both nostrils wide open.  I am sickened by it. It repulses me to the core. Someday, in the not too distant future, this little blog of mine, will not get on the information highway, because I will refuse to pay the toll.  I say fuck you to them.  The only way, the absolute only way to hurt them, is to not give them your money.  But, who has the intestinal fortitude to do it.  Oh, there are some of us who do our small part. I refuse to give Exxon one penny of my money. Do you know that they are waiting for people in Alaska to die off, so they dont have to pay for the Exxon Valdeze spill.  Yep, they are literally waiting for people who they harmed to die. Nice people, Huh!

The bottom line is that people do not care.  They would rather sit at home and watch Dancing with the Stars, or American Idol, than stand up and be counted for something they believe in.  Would you give up internet access for a few short months, in order to get a better faster and fairer internet in the future? I would.  Are you aware that the big ISP's have enacted laws in 19 states, that make it a crime for a community that has no internet access the ability to build their own? Did you know that there are towns in many states where kids have to do their homework by the side of a road on "Death Hill", because its the only place that 3G will work?  That is fucking sickening to me.  The reason that the big ISP's will not build internet service there, is not because it is not profitable, its just not profitable enough. Man, that really pisses me off.  The big ISP's regurlary make 95% profit on every dollar you pay, every month. Why should they upgrade the pipes, when there is no competition? I do not begrudge anyone making a buck. But when is enough enough?
