What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

What could possibly go wrong?  The planned "terror drill" of the national electrical grid scheduled in November, has this very ominous feel about it.  What could and will happen is a whole different matter. I am actually quite concerned about this drill.  It seems that whenever a drill is planned, something always seems to happen, and not in a good way.

This might be politically incorrect for me to say, but I do believe that the police should be held to a much higher standard.  They have sworn an oath to protect and serve.  What makes a cop go bad?  What makes a cop plant evidence?  When did we become the enemy?  Go ahead and do a search for police abuse on youtube. You can go down a rabbit hole very deep, and if you have any feeling of compassion, you will be offended when you see just how bad some of these cops treat innocent people.

Case in point here. James Simmons was arrested for a crime he did not commit. The officer in question admits to being dishonest. When you read the story in the link, you might become quite angry.  I know its one man, but it does point to a much larger problem with dishonest police officers. Let me ask you this, do you think that its just been recently that police have been abusing people, making false arrests, beating the crap out of suspects because we all have cameras on our phones?  This has been going on longer than time.  Police corruption is the worst kind of crime.  They should be held to a higher standard.  If they abuse the system, lie under oath, plant evidence, beat suspects senseless, then they should all be in jail.

Murder on a Sunday Morning is an Academy Award winning documentary.  In this case, every police office lied under oath.  Every police officer in this case should be in jail forever, for what they did to this poor kid.

A blockbuster new report form the London School of Economics and Political Science has proven without a doubt that pirating media content not only does not result in the loss of money from Hollywood, it actually proves the exact opposite. I can  help prove that on a smaller scale. You see, a few years ago, I obtained a few songs sort of illegally by The Barenaked Ladies. I listened to them, loved the music, and in the ensuing months I went and bought every one of their albums LEGALLY.

I have had the same experience with movies also. Some copies I have received through somewhat shady circumstances, have been poor copies, and then I went out to buy them legally.  If this is how it works in my world, I am sure that it works that way for you also.

On another note, Just months after Dr. Ben Carson gave a speech questioning the moral decline of America, he was targeted by the IRS. Hmmmmm, sounds like when you question power, power bites back.

Where is the justice?

I am still amazed at that police get away with murder.  I guess I should not be, but at some point we must take a stand for the innocent and downtrodden.  This is so sickening, the police ran over a suspect and the office is getting away with murder.

When is enough enough?  This must stop!!!

There is a war against us...

I do believe there is an ever increasing was against us. It does appear that the police have become ever more violent with the citizenry. Just go to youtube and search for that phrase. The perfect example is the case portrayed in the incredible documentary "Murder on a Sunday morning". During that case, every detective, not some, EVERY, one of them lied not only during the investigation, but during the trial as well.  Does that mean that there are no criminals? NO, does that mean that some cases should be looked at again? HELL YES... How about the West Memphis Three. Daimen Echols Jessie Misskelly, and Jason Baldwin all served 18 years in prison for murders they did not commit. Again, the police and district attorney ALL made the evidence point to the INNOCENT boys who were charged and convicted of those crimes. How much money would you demand from the state for losing 18 years of your life? How much money would it take to make that pain and anguish go away?  I am so sickened my the corruption in many police departments around the country.  Now, when the people fianlly have a weapon to fight back, the cell phone camera, the states are trying to make it a crime to record those corrupt cops beating the crap out of people.

The Innocence project has cleared over 300 INNOCENT MEN FROM prison. That is an enormous amount of convictions that were overturned. Is police misconduct the root to all the convictions? probably not, but it is worth taking a look... If the justice was even remotely fair, then there would be no convictions overturned.  I am not so innocent or naive to think that could happen, but in my eyes, if someone is on death row, then there better be so much fucking overwhelming evidence against them, that the case is ironclad.  But, like I have stated, the amount of police who continually lie just blows my mind.  Think about it, if you are a young person joining the police force, and you really want to protect and serve, when do you decide to cross that line? When do you decide to plant evidence? When do you decide to lie during an investigation? When do you decide to lie during the trial? As far as I am concerned, if you are a cop, responsible for upholding the law, you are held to a very high ethical standard. If you lie, and perjure yourself, that is automatic 10 years in jail.

I am astounded by the daily amount of video of police beating up people, shooting them, shooting animals, just basically being assholes, they are there to protect and serve, not intimidate and threaten. When did this war against us start?  The recent manhunt in Boston is just one example of jackboot Nazi police stripping away our rights, and trying to rationalize and get us use to the police state.  Soon, I am going to make a trip across the country, I did this two years ago, and the amount of poverty and despair I personally witnessed was devastating. I was in Reno, Nevada, and I saw the police beat the crap out people in the "Occupy Reno" movement. These innocent protesters were sitting down, not bothering anyone, and the cops started dragging, spraying, and beating these poor innocent people all over the street. It did more than break my heart. I made my resolve to help make a change even stronger.

Where is the justice for us?  The illegal "Checkpoints" set up nationwide to check for drunk driving is just another ruse to intimidate and threaten.  WTF has happened in this country?

It looks like every judicial decision appears to work in favor of corporations and banks. Just recently Haliburton was found guilty of destroying evidence in the Deep Water Horizon tragedy. Did anyone go to jail? NO... Wells Fargo and Wachovia were found guilty of laundering BILLIONS of dollars.
